About us
On a summer day, we were sitting on a terrace. We were talking about what a shame it is that so many photos disappear into the cloud. Thousands of images that hardly anyone ever looks at anymore. Then we asked ourselves: how wonderful would it be if those photos could come to life again in a 3D artwork?
First 3D Printer
That question, of course, didn't come out of nowhere. In 2024, Fabian bought his first 3D printer. From that moment on, he turned everything he envisioned into prints. With Marjolein's marketing background, the ideas increasingly took shape. We both became enthusiastic about all the possibilities. We had to do something with this. That's how Memuro was born. What started with one printer on the workbench grew into a studio with multiple 3D printers.
The Printing Process
Every order that comes in is custom-made. We manually convert the photo into a digital design that the printer can read. Then the printing process begins: layer by layer, the printer builds the artwork at over 200 degrees. This process takes hours. Once the artwork is finished, it first needs to cool down. Afterwards, we carefully remove it from the print plate with gloves on.
High Quality
We have tested and refined this product for months, which is why we know exactly how to print the artworks to top quality. Nevertheless, every piece always passes through our hands and eyes. We examine it carefully and only allow works that meet our high standards to proceed.
If everything is correct, the artwork receives a frame. Then we carefully pack it in a box, attach a label, and send it to its new owner. We spend hours on one artwork, and we do it with a lot of love.
More Than a Company
Every time we pack and ship a package, we feel pride and gratitude. Proud that we create something in our studio that will last for generations. Grateful that you entrust us with your memory. That makes Memuro so much more than a company to us.
